Indonesia Sets New Record in Daily Covid-19 Numbers
Coronavirus cases have increased by four digits in five provinces in the most populated island of Java in the past 24 hours, with Jakarta returning as the epicenter. More transmittable variants of the virus have been attributed to the recent spike in newly cases.

‘Like a war zone’: Doctors, hospitals plead for help amid COVID-19 upsurge
Indonesia reported record-breaking new infections and deaths in the past week, with many hospitals in Java becoming overwhelmed with patients and running out of oxygen.

Since April 2020, IMSACare has responded to the needs of thousands of people in Indonesia and US with food, hygiene items, and personal protective equipment (PPEs) for frontline workers.
