اِنَّا لْنَا الذِّكْرَ اِنَّا لَهٗ لَحٰفِظُوْنَ
Indeed, We are the ones who sent down the Qur'an, and surely We will maintain it.
(QS Al-Hijr verse 9)
Age is not a barrier for Muslims in memorizing the Qur'an. Many great scholars started studying Islam at age 30. They not only memorized and understood the Qur'an but also became role models for many Muslims. Abu Walid Al-Baji, who just learned the Qur'an at 30 years old, used to work as a security guard and had a family to take care of. He became a great scholar of the Maliki School.
IMSA TAHFIDZH CLASS is here to help and accompany you on this noble journey insha'Allah.
Program requirements are completion of the IMSA Tahsin program, a strong will, sincerity in learning the Qur'an, and istiqomah.
The class meets online once a week for a duration of 2 hours. During the class, mentors will be using the TES method. The method includes reciting (tilawah) the ayaat of the Qur'an, memorizing them, and revisiting (murajaah) the memorized parts of the Qur'an.
